Stewardship exists because the heart work of recovery and the household work of recovery are not the same thing — and the household work needs its own structure, lessons, and care.
I.
Heartland Christian Counseling, based in Iowa, has been walking with couples through pornography recovery for years — through coaching, counseling, and pastoral care. Stewardship is a supplement to Heartland's existing Sexual Addiction Coaching track, focused specifically on the technology side of the household. Not a separate ministry, not a competing program.
II.
A decade ago, a single family computer was the conversation. Today there are phones, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles, smart TVs, and the router itself — each with its own settings, its own gaps, its own paths around the cycle at 2am. Most couples in recovery do not have someone who can sit with them through all of that, name what is there, and help them choose. Stewardship is that someone — at their own pace, in their own home.
III.
Names and bios pending. Specific bios for the people behind Stewardship and the Heartland relationship are still being drafted with Heartland's leadership. This section will be filled in before any public launch.
